Chilli from China, this year in Austria. Perfectly illustrates the usual problems with chilli collecting, as it all looks different from how it did last year in China, when I collected it. It probably crossed itself there already (and maybe some of it was grown from commercial, perhaps even hybrid, seed); different conditions here might also account for some differences.

And even among those few examples, if one looks closely, one can see where slugs got to it. They are getting to me this year, too, robbing me of the fun of it.
